Partij Veilig Maastricht (PVM) is a center-right party, with a big social heart.
Safety, addressing radicalisation and low charges for inhabitants of Maastricht are PVM’s top priority.

The well being of our inhabitants, our traditions, norms and values, caring for the elderly, the ill and youth are our focal points.

  • More neighborhood police officers and supervisors available in the streets
  • Hard approach drug runners

  • Increasing the safety level in the broadest sense of the word

  • Maintaining Maastricht’s cultural heritage
  • City museum where the history of Maastricht en its people is told
  • Hall and rehearsal rooms for amateur (music) arts and carnival activities for the city
  • Investing in Maastricht’s rich association culture: wind orchestra’, choirs and amateur theatre
  • Campaign to stimulate the Maastricht traditions and dialect
  • Minckeler’s flame should burn again permanently as it is a famous city symbol

  • Integration is very important, therefore we want to offer guidance and supervision “behind the front door”
  • Learning Dutch is mandatory for anyone who wants to stay permanently
  • No Maastricht grants for global and developing countries. This is not a local task, but a national task.

  • Recreational use of the ENCI-quarry should remain possible as it is a public property of all of Maastricht’s inhabitants.
